    Description

National Comics #38 Mile High pedigree (Quality, 1944) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. The last time we auctioned this Mile High book, it was raw and was graded at VF/NM, but it looks like the fellows over at CGC took a shine to the book, as the NM- 9.2 grade would indicate! The Uncle Sam, Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini cover by Alex Kotzky is a near classic, and Fred Guardineer, Al McWilliams, and Rudy Palais added interior art to the issue. We had only seen this copy and the Davis Crippen copy prior to getting this beauty back for this sale. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of glue on spine of cover." Overstreet 2014 NM- 9.2 value = $1,150. CGC census 8/14: 1 in 9.2, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 981220008 and purchase grader's notes if available.
