Description
Jumbo Comics #4 (Fiction House, 1938) Condition: GD/VG. The second complete copy of this rarity we have ever offered. Overstreet calls it "scarce" and Gerber calls it rates it an 8 or "rare." The first comic book work by Lou Fine, plus art by Will Eisner (origin of the Hawk), Dick Briefer ("Hunchback of Notre Dame"), Bob Kane ("Peter Pupp" and "Jest Laughs"), and more. The color of the pages alternates from pink to green. This copy has a 4" spine split that has been sealed with tape.
