Description

Four Color #25-36 Bound Volume (Dell, 1943). We recognize this bound volume as being originally from the archives of Western Publishing -- these are file copies that were bound and trimmed into a hardback reference guide for the Western Publishing editorial office. Included here are #25 (Andy Panda #1), 26 (Popeye), 27 (Mickey Mouse and the Seven Colored Terror), 28 (Wash Tubbs), 29 (Donald Duck and the Mummy's Ring, the classic issue by Carl Barks), 30 (Bambi's Children), 31 (Moon Mullins), 32 (Smitty), 33 (Bugs Bunny in "Public Nuisance #1", the first Four Color for Bugs), 34 (Dick Tracy), 35 (Smokey Stover), and 36 (Smilin' Jack). The covers of the comics look extremely fresh; the pages are cream to off-white. The spine of the hardcover is coming loose, not affecting the comics inside. A couple of pages have tape stains. Issue #29 has a pencil notation on the cover. Overstreet 2012 VG 4.0 value for group = $2,368.
