    Description

Meet the New Post-Gazette Sunday Funnies #nn (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 1949) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. Superman, Archie, and Dick Tracy in the same comic book? That's something you won't find anywhere else but this hard-to-find promotional comic, which is called "rare" by Overstreet and is a Gerber "7." This 16-page comic with a paper cover was an insert in the newspaper, intended to drum up interest (and subscriptions) for the paper's revamping. In addition to the aforementioned features, there's Funnyman by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, plus Buck Rogers, Gasoline Alley, Terry and the Pirates, Brenda Starr, and more. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $4,500. CGC census 8/05: 1 in 7.5, 1 higher.
