    Description

Mary Marvel Comics #1 (Fawcett Publications, 1945) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. Mary Marvel earned her own title, after a stint in Wow Comics, and not only did she have Captain Marvel introduce her on the cover (as was his modus operandi), she also got her very own arch enemy, in Georgia Sivana (the daughter of Dr. Sivana), whose first appearance and origin are also featured here. The cover art is by Jack Binder. Only two other copies of this issue have been graded higher by CGC to date. Overstreet 2014 NM- 9.2 value = $2,500. CGC census 8/14: 2 in 9.4, 2 higher.
