    Marvel Mystery Comics #7 Nova Scotia Pedigree (Timely, 1940) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. A lovely pedigreed copy with no peers in CGC's current census. This is the earliest issue of the title to earn a CGC unrestored grade as high as 9.4. To date, CGC hasn't awarded an unrestored grade as high as 9.4 for any copy of Marvel Mystery Comics #1-6. It's been six years since we offered a copy as high as 9.0 and 15 years since we offered a 9.2 copy! The classic bondage/hypodermic needle cover by Alex Schomburg is the master's second Human Torch cover. The Sub-Mariner attacks New York City, and the Human Torch joins the police force, setting up the momentous battle featured in Marvel Mystery Comics #8-10. Art by Bill Everett, Irwin Hasen, Carl Burgos, and Paul Gustavson. Overstreet 2018 NM- 9.2 value = $24,500. CGC census 11/18: 1 in 9.4, none higher.
