Pep Comics #26 (MLJ, 1942) CGC GD+ 2.5 Cream to off-white pages. The only unrestored copy of the mere three copies that we have ever offered of issue #26. It's an extremely early appearance of Archie Andrews and the gang from Riverdale, featuring the first appearance of the lovely Miss Veronica Lodge. The Liberty Bell cover is by Irv Novick, who also contributed interior art. Bob Montana story and art. Overstreet 2017 GD 2.0 value = $811. CGC census 2/18: 1 in 2.5, 6 higher.
