Pep Comics #24 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VG 4.0 Light tan to off-white pages. Talk about scarce! This is only the second CGC-graded copy of #24 that we have ever auctioned, but we are fortunate to have a number of tough to find Peps in this sale. Of course, this is an early appearance of Archie whose first appearance was #22. Coach Kleats makes his first appearance inside, where the art was handled by Irv Novick (who also did the Japanese War cover), Bob Montana, and Paul Reinman. Overstreet 2014 VG 4.0 value = $846.
