Description
New Book of Comics #2 (DC, 1938) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white to white pages. A nice copy of a rare pre-Action Comics #1 DC book, rated an "8" ("rare") in the Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books. The last issue of the title, it features Doctor Occult stories (a precursor to Superman) reprinted from More Fun Comics #15 and 16. Story art is by Joe Shuster and Vincent Sullivan. Overstreet 2024 FN 6.0 value = $3,138. CGC census 1/25: 5 in 6.0, 8 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
