Meet Corliss Archer #1 (Fox, 1948) Condition: FN. Teenagers of the late 1940s definitely enjoyed meeting Corliss Archer. To be sure, hearing her on her radio show was quite different than seeing her in this comic, as every panel had the lass's breasts jutting out in a simply impossible-to-overlook manner thanks to artist Al Feldstein. And Feldstein gave the same treatment to Corliss' pal Mildred Ames and her mom Janet Archer (!). The stories are innocent enough except for that! Thus, this series is a collector's favorite for the reasons mentioned above.
