Junior #11 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Fox Features Syndicate, 1948) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. There's no other way to put this: Junior issues stood out because their covers and pages featured unnaturally buxom female characters, all drawn by the pseudonymous "Bill Brown," whom we now know to be none other than future Mad editor Al Feldstein. As you can see from the census date below, VF-and-up copies don't come along often. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $506. CGC census 10/06: 3 in 8.0, 2 higher. From the Crippen Collection.
