    Description

Fairy Tale Parade #1-9 Bound Volume (Dell, 1942-44). The beautiful art of Walt Kelly is showcased in this fantastic volume of comics. Kelly began his career at Walt Disney before moving on to Dell comic book stories, eventually concentrating on his Pogo strip in the late 1940s. Each issue of Fairy Tale Parade contains a number of Kelly pages; the first issue is entirely by him, and features some of his best efforts. All comics appear to have been in VF condition or better before being trimmed and bound, and retain most of their original cover gloss and very supple page quality; the binding itself is first-rate, clean and tight. Overstreet VG 4.0 value for group = $780.
