Description

Crackajack Funnies #1 Denver pedigree (Dell, 1938) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Debuting at virtually the same time as Action Comics #1, this comic featured reprints of many syndicated strips, of which Roy Crane's Wash Tubbs and Captain Easy are, perhaps, the most fondly remembered today. Although the CGC census ranks it as just the second highest-graded copy, it does sport off-white to white pages -- remarkable for a 1938 comic. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $2,700.
