Venus #17 (Atlas, 1951) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white pages. Timely/Atlas had a knack for oddball characters, covers, and in this case, even titles. This title's one of the more difficult to find in any condition, and in high grade? Forget it! No other copy in CGC's census is better than FN 6.0! The bondage cover is by Timely/Atlas/Marvel legend Bill Everett, who also provided interior art. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $481. CGC census 7/05: 1 in 8.0, none higher.
