Description

The Phantom Stranger #2 (DC, 1952) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Cream to off-white pages. Carmine Infantino and John Giunta show the Phantom Stranger running to save a woman who is being harassed by the killer shadows. Interior creators are John Broome, Sy Barry, Bernard Sachs, and Raymond Perry. The Overstreet Price Guide labels this issue as "scarce" and The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books gives this book a rating of "6" with only 50 to 200 copies estimated to exist. As of this writing, this is the highest grade the CGC has awarded this issue. This solid copy has a crease at the lower right corner, but is otherwise flat, sharp, and solid. And it's tough to find in any grade! If you're a fan of DC pre-Code horror comics, this book is for you! Overstreet 2002 FN 6.0 value = $321; VF 8.0 value = $669.
