Tales of Terror Annual #3 (EC, 1953) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. EC Annuals rarely turn up in this condition, since they are composed of other EC books with their covers removed, and a new cover binding together multiple copies. Plus, there are no Gaines File copies of these Tales of Terror annuals. Al Feldstein dug deep to come up with one of EC's finest torture covers. With that terrible trio -- the Vault Keeper brandishing the branding iron, the Crypt Keeper cranking up the rack, and the Old Witch flourishing the feather, it's surely a bad day for this tighty whitey-clad tormented soul. A great and ghastly addition to any ghoulish EC collection. Overstreet 2013 NM- 9.2 value = $3,400. CGC census 5/14: 2 in 9.4, none higher. From the Gary Arlington Collection.CGC Grader Notes:
