Description

Mystery Tales #7 Bethlehem pedigree (Atlas, 1953) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white pages. A pre-Code horror book in high grade is something you don't see very often. This book would be a sterling addition to the Atlas collector's comic horde, but also shouldn't be missed by fans of John Romita Sr. Yes, the romance specialist could also draw spooky stuff when called upon! Also on the list of artists is Jerry Robinson, who had drawn a bat or two in his day. This is the highest-graded copy that CGC has certified to date. A certificate of authenticity from the Bethlehem collection is included with this lot. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $440.
