Amazing Ghost Stories #14 (St. John, 1954) CGC VG+ 4.5 Off-white pages. The classic Universal monster film, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, released the same year as this comic, obviously had an influence on the cover image by the great Matt Baker. This first issue of the title contains an adaption of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum" drawn by Everett Raymond Kinstler. Overstreet 2022 VG 4.0 value = $600.
