Amazing Ghost Stories #14 (St. John, 1954) CGC FR/GD 1.5 Cream to off-white pages. There's no doubt that the classic monster film, The Creature from the Black Lagoon (released the same year as this comic), had an influence on the cover image by the great Matt Baker. This first issue of the title contains an Edgar Allen Poe "Pit and the Pendulum" adaptation drawn by Everett Raymond Kinstler. Overstreet 2022 GD 2.0 value = $300.
