    Description

Ghost Rider #1 Mile High pedigree (Magazine Enterprises, 1950) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. A jaw-dropping copy of a black-cover issue, from the vaunted collection of Edgar Church. Ghost Rider got his own series here after debuting in the pages of Tim Holt, and the origin of the masked man in white is revealed inside. The art is by Dick Ayers, who drew every ME adventure of the character and even handled him in later years when Marvel "appropriated" the range-ridin' character. The issue is also known as A-1 Comics #27. This is the highest-graded copy of the book certified by CGC to date. Overstreet 2010 NM- 9.2 value = $1,750. CGC census 4/11: 1 in 9.6, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 79560009 and purchase grader's notes if available.
