    Description

Four Color #25-36 File Copies Bound Volume (Dell, 1943). We recognize this bound volume as being originally from the archives of Western Publishing -- these are file copies that were bound and trimmed into a hardback reference guide for the Western Publishing editorial office. Included here are #25 (Andy Panda, first issue), #26 (Popeye), #27 (Mickey Mouse and the Seven Colored Terror), #28 (Wash Tubbs), #29 (Donald Duck and the Mummy's Ring, the classic issue by Carl Barks), #30 (Bambi's Children), #31 (Moon Mullins), #32 (Smitty), #33 (Bugs Bunny in "Public Nuisance #1", the first Four Color for Bugs), #34 (Dick Tracy), #35 (Smokey Stover), and #36 (Smilin' Jack). The covers of the comics look extremely fresh; the pages are cream to off-white. The spine of the hardcover is coming loose, not affecting the comics inside. A couple of pages have tape stains. Issue #29 has a pencil notation on the cover. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value for group = $2,134.
