EC Horror and Crime Comics Bound Volumes Group of 7 (EC, 1950s). An amazing collection of classic EC horror comics featuring such highlights as the first EC horror comic, classic covers, and the first appearances of the Crypt Keeper, the Old Witch, and the Vault Keeper. These are copies of Tales from the Crypt #20-46; War Against Crime #10 and 11; Vault of Horror #12-40; Haunt of Fear #15 (#1), 16, 17, and 4-28; Crime Patrol #15 and 16; and Crypt of Terror #17-19 that have been trimmed and bound into set of seven hardcover volumes. (The contents add up to complete runs of each title with the exception of War Against Crime). Overstreet lists many of these issues as "scarce", and these volumes come from the personal library of legendary EC artist Al Feldstein. Each has his personal ex libris plate, signed by him and affixed to the inside front cover. In overall nice condition with some wear and moderate tanning to the pages and cover interiors. Overstreet VG 4.0 value for group = $13,663. From the Personal Collection of Al Feldstein.
