    Detective Comics #38 (DC, 1940) CGC GD 2.0 Cream to off-white pages. One of the key comic book issues of all-time has the origin and first appearance of Robin. Currently tied for the 13th spot among Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books, it's highly sought-after in any grade. Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson combined for the now-famous cover and for interior art as well. Fred Guardineer also contributed story art. CGC notes, "Cover and centerfold detached." Overstreet 2007 GD 2.0 value = $3,750. CGC census 9/07: 1 in 2.0, 21 higher.
