    Detective Comics #36 (DC, 1940) CBCS Restored FN 6.0 Moderate (P) Off-white pages. This early Bat-issue features the first appearance of Hugo Strange. The book also introduced the first finned-gloves ever to be worn by Batman. Listed at #49 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. CBCS notes, "Professional Restoration Includes: Small amount of color touch on cover, pieces added to cover, reinforced, spine splits sealed, tear seals to cover, cover cleaned." Overstreet 2015 FN 6.0 value = $7,200. CGC census 1/16: 2 in 6.0, 7 higher.
