    Detective Comics #29 (DC, 1939) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages. The second-ever Batman cover! And this is the nicest unrestored copy of the book we've offered in many a year. The issue also had the first appearance of Dr. Death on the cover by Batman co-creator Bob Kane. It's one of the most valuable in the storied run of DC's namesake title and currently ranked #14 overall on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. Kane and Superman co-creator Joe Shuster contributed interior art. Overstreet 2020 FN 6.0 value = $65,400.
