    Detective Comics #168 (DC, 1951) CGC VG 4.0 Off-white to white pages. The origin of the Joker is revealed for the first time in this issue, making it perhaps the most important Batman book of the 1950s, and certainly relevant with the release of the Joaquin Phoenix Joker feature film. Lew Sayre Schwartz provided both the cover and interior art for the issue, featuring Batman and Robin. The issue is currently tied for the #68 position on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Piece re-attached to cover with tape." Overstreet 2019 VG 4.0 value = $6,200. CGC census 7/20: 9 in 4.0, 62 higher.
