    Description

Shock SuspenStories #1-18 Bound Volume (EC, 1952-54). This stunning volume features a complete run of EC's crime/suspense/horror title, all 18 issues trimmed and bound into a handsome collection accompanied by a custom clamshell case. Contents include a number of classic covers featuring hangings, electrocutions, hooded vigilantes, and face meltings (hence the "Shock" part of the title); Ray Bradbury adaptations; and art by Frank Frazetta (his only "solo" EC story, "Squeeze Play," in issue #13), Johnny Craig, Reed Crandall, Jack Davis, George Evans, Wally Wood, Jack Kamen, and others. These are handsome copies with nearly pristine covers, supple pages, mild tanning, and only isolated wear, chipping, or creasing. Overstreet 2012 VG 4.0 value for group = $1,400.
