    Description

Shadow Comics #10 (Street & Smith, 1941) CGC VF 8.0 White pages. We all know that "the Shadow knows," but did you know that this issue marked the comic book debut of those movie ragamuffins, the Dead End Kids? That's right, Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and crew made the transition from film to funnybook, for a back-up series that would run for only a few issues. The Grim Ghost has an origin story in this issue as well. This outstanding copy boasts white pages and vivid cover colors, making it (according to CGC) the highest-graded issue to date. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $581. CGC census 3/07: 1 in 8.0, none higher.
