Crime SuspenStories #8 Gaines File Copy Pedigree (EC, 1951) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white pages. One of six highest-graded CGC copies, this flawless EC comic is naturally a Gaines File Copy! Johnny Craig provides the cover and art, with Graham Ingels illustrating a "Haunt of Fear" tale featuring the Old Witch. Jack Kamen and George Roussos supply the issue's other two SuspenStories, with a text story by Al Feldstein. GPAnalysis lists the last public sale of a CGC NM/MT 9.8 copy in November 2021, with no Gaines File Copies offered in the years since. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $1,000.
