Description

All-Famous Police Cases #14 and Framed Photograph Group of 2 (Star Publications, 1954) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white to white pages. A CGC-certified VG/FN 5.0 copy of All-Famous Police Cases #14, and a black and white 11" x 14" photograph of the US Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency showing "Representative Comic Book Covers Crime, Horror, & Weird Variety", which displays the cover for All-Famous Police Cases #14. ?(You can find said photo depicted on the table of contents page of this catalog.) Very tough issue to find in any grade, and particularly any nicer than this 5.0 copy. CGC has certified just two copies nicer than 6.0 to date, and Heritage has offered copies on merely two previous occasions, most recently in 2024 when a 6.5 copy sold for $4,320. The classic, unmistakable art of Golden Age legend L. B. Cole graces the cover. CGC notes, "Used in the Senate investigation on juvenile delinquency." The accompanying photo is Plexiglas-front framed to an overall 21" x 17". Overstreet 2024 VG 4.0 value = $60; FN 6.0 value = $90. CGC census 7/25: 3 in 5.0, 4 higher.
