    Classic Comics/Classics Illustrated Reprints Group (Gilberton, 1944-47). The following group consists of #1: (The Three Musketeers), 2 (Ivanhoe), 4 (The Last of the Mohicans), 5 (Moby Dick), 11 (Don Quixote), and 15 (Uncle Tom's Cabin) (all of the preceding issues are HRN 21 and have an average grade of VG/FN). Issues #12 (Rip Van Winkle) and 17 (Deerslayer) have an average grade of VG and HRN 22. This next group (are all HRN 28 and have an average grade of VG) consists of: #6 (A Tale of Two Cities), 8 (Arabian Nights), 9 (Les Miserables), 13 (Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde) (used in Seduction of the Innocent; possibly the first horror comic?), and 16 (Gulliver's Travels). And the last group (all are HRN 30, have an average grade of VG/FN, and none are the rare variants) includes: #23 (Oliver Twist), 25 (Two Years Before the Mast), 26 (Frankenstein) (possibly the second horror comic?), 27 (The Adventures of Marco Polo), and as a bonus Classics Illustrated #3 (The Count of Monte Cristo) (HRN 36, FN condition). None are original editions. Approximate Overstreet value for group = $675.
