Captain Science #4 (Youthful Magazines, 1951) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Cream to off-white pages. Here is an early Wally Wood and Joe Orlando cover. While this is a relatively early effort, Wood is already drawing fantastic beautiful women in sensual poses, detailed spaceship interiors and slimy alien creatures - motifs that would be closely identified with the artist throughout his career. The gal threatened by the space monster in the background is a fine example of an early Wood woman. Fortunately Captain Science and his pal are on the scene to teach that big-headed alien not to mess with Earth girls!
