Captain America Comics #75 (Timely, 1950) CGC Apparent VF+ 8.5 Slight (A) Off-white pages. In one of the more bizarre chapters in Marvel history, the long-running Captain America Comics became "Captain America's Weird Tales" for two issues, with this issue marking the end for the series (though the numbering was resumed by Atlas in 1954). And to make things weirder, Cap doesn't even actually appear in the comic! The issue is a Gerber "7." CGC credits the cover to Gene Colan. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover." Overstreet 2005 GD 2.0 value = $196; VG 4.0 value = $392; FN 6.0 value = $588; VF 8.0 value = $1,225; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,888.
