    Captain America Comics #74 The Promise Collection Pedigree (Timely, 1949) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. This is the highest-graded copy certified by CGC to date, and of the nearly 80 copies graded by them only 10 have a grade above FN 6.0. The first of two issues subtitled "Weird Tales", this book is difficult to find in any grade -- Overstreet lists it as "scarce", and Gerber rates it an "8" ("rare") on its Scarcity Index. It's desirability currently has it at #64 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. It features three horror stories behind its classic Red Skull cover, one of which was written by none other than Stan Lee. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $45,000. CGC census 6/21: 1 in 9.2, none higher.
