    Description

Captain America Comics #2 (Timely, 1941) CGC GD- 1.8 Brittle pages. Can one of Overstreet's top 50 most valuable Golden Age books still be called underrated? We think so, since it has the debut of the costume Cap has worn for decades. From the looks of things on this Joe Simon Hitler cover, we'd say that southern Illinois is in for some big trouble, that is until Captain America steps in (no thanks to Bucky...). The accompanying story and art are by Simon and Jack Kirby. Overstreet 2015 GD 2.0 value = $2,100. CGC census 8/15: 2 in 1.8, 45 higher.
