Camp Comics #1 (Whitman, 1942) Condition: VF+. Don't think ill of us for noticing a bit of skin showing on this issue's demure cover gal! This series was obviously intended for distribution to G.I.s, and evidently not many of the fighting men saved their copies, as Overstreet calls this "scarce" today. Inside, there's some "good girl" art, but also a two-pager featuring Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny, a story called "Seaman Sy Wheeler" with Walt Kelly art, and a Mark Twain adaptation. This is the nicest copy we've seen of this issue! Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $500; VF/NM 9.0 value = $788.From the John McLaughlin Collection.

Jared, you and Heritage treated me more than just regarded my comic book pages with more than admiration.
