    Description

Batman #9 (DC, 1942) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. We would take this copy over a couple of higher-graded copies we have seen -- give it your full consideration and judge for yourself! The black cover is certainly one of the more famous ones in the title's run, and this issue also boasts a Joker story and the first Batman Christmas story. Jack Burnley drew the cover and Bob Kane and aides Jerry Robinson and George Roussos handled the interior art. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $1,044; VF 8.0 value = $2,262. CGC census 2/06: 4 in 6.5, 17 higher. From the Collection of Harold Curtis.
