Batman #8 (DC, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. This endearing image of Batman and Robin is one that has stood the test of time. This one is instantly recognizable for sure, and is one of the early infinity covers. The condition is extremely nice, with a nearly perfect spine, nice corners, and beautiful page quality. The solid red background on this issue is extremely prone to defects, and this one has survived the decades with no creases or other major defects. Only one solitary copy has achieved a higher grade than this one so far, so you know this one is one of the top few existing copies. Overstreet 2002 VF 8.0 value = $2,188; NM 9.4 value = $4,200.
