    Description

Batman #13 (DC, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. Superb page quality on a much sought after Bat-issue. We have not seen a higher-graded copy in more than five years, and we've only seen three, none of which had white pages. The book contains an early Joker appearance, and Superman co-creator, Jerry Siegel, and baseball hero Joe DiMaggio make cameo appearances in one of the Batman stories. Jerry Robinson offered up the airborne cover and interior art for the issue. Bob Kane and Jack Burnley art. Overstreet 2018 VF 8.0 value = $2,947; VF/NM 9.0 value = $5,174. CGC census 11/18: 5 in 8.5, 4 higher.
