    Description

All Star Comics #30 Mile High pedigree (DC, 1946) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. This cover's black border makes it challenging to find in high grade, but as usual, Edgar Church came through -- this one's a great-looking 9.6. The Justice Society tangles with Brain Wave in this issue, and the villain's got a machine that makes the JSAers hallucinate. What he didn't count on was that the permanently addled Johnny Thunder would actually gain intelligence thereby, and be a legitimate help to the JSA for once! Martin Naydel drew the issue's cover; the interior artists include Joe Kubert, who drew the Hawkman chapter. Overstreet 2005 NM- 9.2 value = $1,575. CGC census 7/05: 1 in 9.6, none higher.
