Air Fighters Comics #1 Mile High pedigree (Hillman Fall, 1941) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Here is the premiere issue of a series that ran for twelve years, the first 22 issues as this title and the remaining 89 issues as Airboy. The cover spotlighted the Black Commander whose only appearance was in the first issue. The Mile High copy has the impressively preserved colors you expect and overall this book is the nicest issue #1 of the title that CGC has graded to date. Ernie Gerber's Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books call this an "uncommon" book, and it is indeed scarce in any grade. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $2,400.Auction Info
