Wings Comics #69 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Fiction House, 1946) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. What covers on this Fiction House title! For this issue Lee Elias provided the cover and also contributed story art, along with A. C. Hollingsworth and Fran Hopper. Wings must have been a great read because high-grade copies are rare. This is one of only two copies that CGC has certified to date with a grade better than FN/VF 7.0, none nicer than this. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $270. CGC census 9/06: 1 in 9.2, none higher.
