Sparkler Comics #50 (United Features Syndicate, 1945) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. Burne Hogarth was not only one of the great American artists (in comics or otherwise), he was a renowned instructor; many artists whom he taught went on to become greats in their own right. As his output of comic book covers was limited, we treasure the ones that do exist. A Tarzan cover by Hogarth is simply a treat. To date, only one copy has received a higher grade than this one from CGC. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $300.
