Description
Seven Seas Comics #4 (Universal Phoenix Feature, 1947) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. The Overstreet "classic" Matt Baker cover is one of our favorites in the "underwater" genre. It's one of the 30 best covers of the entire Golden Age according to a recent Heritage/CGC collectors' poll. Baker also contributed some fine art for the interior of the issue. The last 6.5 copy that was publicly auctioned (March, 2015), sold for more than four times Overstreet VF value, so expect some fierce competition for this book! Overstreet 2016 FN 6.0 value = $900; VF 8.0 value = $2,010. CGC census 11/16: 3 in 6.5, 8 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
