Description

New Adventure Comics #19 (DC, 1937) CGC FN 6.0 Cream to off-white pages. Normally associated with deadly serious covers, Creig Flessel proves his versatility with this humorous cover; one of his earliest on the title. This title would eventually become Adventure Comics and one of comicdom's longest-running series, finally expiring in 1983 nearly 50 years after the series started with New Comics #1 back in 1935. If this doesn't look that familiar, it could be because, as a Gerber "rare", there are only an estimated 11-20 in existence. CGC has reviewed just three unrestored copies to date. Get one while you can! Overstreet 2002 FN 6.0 value = $1,077.
