    Description

New Adventure Comics #18 Rockford pedigree (DC, 1937) CGC NM- 9.2 Cream to off-white pages. Creig Flessel contributed a remarkably modern-looking surfing cover to this early issue. Artists inside are Joe Shuster and Sven Elven, with Jerry Siegel listed as one of the writers. Included are the first and only appearances of two humorous features, Mail Order Murphy and the Count, but the real news is the stunning NM- 9.2 grade for this 74 year-old comic book, a Gerber "8." Overstreet 2011 NM- 9.2 value = $4,300. CGC census 10/11: 1 in 9.2, none higher.
