Large Feature Comic #5 (Dell, 1939) Condition: VF. Tarzan collectors should take note of this interesting book. It's the first Tarzan comic book, featuring reprints of the earliest strips by Hal Foster. Gerber's Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books lists this book as "uncommon", while Overstreet refers to it as "scarce"; at any rate, it's not something you find everyday, particularly in this exceptional condition. These books were printed on extremely cheap newsprint; as a result, few have survived in high grade. This copy is about as nice as they come.
