Description

Funny Picture Stories #4 (Comics Magazine, 1937) CBCS VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. Gerber's Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books rates this book an "8" or "rare" on its scarcity scale, and we can corroborate that, as this is just the second copy that we have ever seen (the other was a GD+ 2.5)! This is also the highest graded copy. Will Eisner did art on "The Brothers Three" story, and the "Tom Dawson" story is drawn by Steve Jussen. Robert Thompson provided the cover art for the issue. A superb example. Overstreet 2015 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,413; NM- 9.2 value = $2,000.
