Description
Detective Comics #3 (DC, 1937) CGC Apparent VG- 3.5 Slight (P) Cream to off-white pages. This is one of only two Detective issues to receive Overstreet's "rare" designation, and just one of two to receive a Gerber scarcity rating of "9." CGC's census further confirms this issue's rarity, as just four copies have been certified to date, none in high grade! What we're getting at is that this copy is not to be passed up, as who knows when you'll find another one. The cover art is by Creig Flessel. Featured characters in the issue include Slam Bradley, written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by Joe Shuster. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: tear seals to cover, cover & centerfold reinforced."
