    Detective Comics #26 (DC, 1939) CGC Conserved FN+ 6.5 Light tan to off-white pages. The issue before the introduction of one of the most popular comic heroes in history, Batman (whose name is mentioned in a text banner). A Fu Manchu story and other various detective-type stories are punctuated with art by Joe Shuster and Fred Guardineer. CGC notes, "Conservation includes: cover cleaned, cover reinforced." Overstreet 2014 GD 2.0 value = $830; VG 4.0 value = $1,660; FN 6.0 value = $2,490.
